SANCTIONED EVENTS DAY BOOK ENTRY
Why we need this form ?
To be able to use vehicles on the Concessional Registration Scheme for Club Runs/Events our Association is required by Service NSW to keep a “Day Book” record of our members use of vehicles on such Club/Runs and can be asked to provide this record at any given time.
This requirement is currently met by HRSM members either texting or emailing their club run details which is difficult to manage..
Who uses the form ?
From now on instead of texting or emailing you need to complete this form each time you use a Concessional Registered Vehicle (Historic or Classic) to attend a Club Run/Event. A club run is an event that is publicised in advance, and then recorded by the club’s secretary in the club’s official diary or meeting minutes.
Has this got anything to do with my Historic or Classic Vehicle Log Book ?
NO your log book does not need to be seen by HRSM It allows you to use vehicles registered under the Historic or Classic Vehicle Schemes for up to 60 days per year for maintenance and personal use, outside of Club Run/Events.
